Real UR Logger screen, not a mockup
How a match becomes a plan.
Three stages, in order: capture what happened, turn it into something readable, hand it to a coach who can act on it.
Structured rally logging
Record rally information one shot at a time from match or practice footage, using a clear court tagging workflow, either live courtside or from video afterwards.
Shot and outcome profiles
Raw rally events become visual summaries: winners, errors, depth, direction, and rally length, built to surface patterns of play rather than raw numbers.
Outputs designed for coaches
Analysis and coaching plans that support real feedback sessions: player development notes, session structure, and more intentional practice design.
Real output, not mockups.
Every image below is a genuine export from a real UR Logger session, the exact files the app generates after logging a match.
UR Coaching Planner: one place for the whole season.
Built for coaches who want session plans, drill notes, reviews, squads, and coaching philosophy connected instead of scattered across notebooks and spreadsheets.
Designed around the coaching workflow
Build a session from warm up to match play, attach drills to each block, review what happened afterwards, and keep player or squad notes connected to your planning.
- Plan
- Structured sessions from a drill library and session builder.
- Calendar
- View planned sessions by date, reopen them when needed.
- Review
- Reflections, player notes, and improvement points after each session.
- Squads
- Groups, profiles, levels, and session history.
- Philosophy
- Coaching values, approach, and player development goals.
Example session structure
Each session stays easy to follow, easy to adapt, and easy to export for future reference or sharing.
Want your drills included in the app?
Coaches can send their existing drill library file to Understanding Rallies for review. Selected drills may be added to the shared drill library in future app updates, helping other coaches discover new ways to structure sessions.
Open Documents > Understanding Rallies > coaching on the device where you use UR Coaching Planner.
Find the drill library file the app created there. It contains the custom drills you've added locally.
Attach that file to an email and send it to Understanding Rallies for review.
Understanding Rallies apps are available on the Microsoft Store.
